When did you start CrossFit?
I'm a DoD spouse, work for Texas Education Agency, have amazing twin boys, an actor/director about town, love living in Austin, and try to workout as much as I can!
What is your athletic background?
Trained as a ballet dancer for 20 years. First time I ever walked up to a barbell was my elements class.
How I eat:
Paleo-ish. Staying grain-free is pretty easy but dairy is my siren.
Why I Crossfit:
I love that it's made me stronger than I ever thought possible and that because of that strength I'm willing to attempt things I thought were out of reach for me, like a half marathon. I love feeling my best, and it's really important to me to set an example of health and fitness for my kids.
