When did you start CrossFit?
Served all of my 9 year military career in the National Guard, mostly MDAY with stretches of ADOS time. I am currently pursuing civilian law enforcement, and plan to remain in the Guard until I retire.
What is your athletic background?
I never had a very established athletic background before Crossfit. I played sports for fun, and used to go to the gym to lift, but without much of a plan. I have always (sadistically?) enjoyed ruck marching, and included that in my exercise plan. I started Crossfit in early 2010, after doing some main site WODS, and have followed it ever since.
How I eat:
Mostly unplanned, I don't eat a lot of junk food, but I don't plan my meals out very specifically, either.
Why I Crossfit:
Crossfit challenges you more than you could ever challenge or push yourself. All you have to do is show up, and the hardest part of your day is planned for you. Not only do you get the advantage of the exercise, but you are doing it in a community that will encourage and suffer along with you.
